ARCLIB Virtual Visit – Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous buildings

Wishing you had something to look forward to? Well, we can help!

Next Wednesday (27 May, 2020) at 2pm we will be hosting a WebEx meeting specifically for ARCLIB members. This will be an exciting ARCLIB “Spring Visit” with the usual mixture of listening, watching, questioning, discussing, enjoying and socialising.

ARCLIB Virtual Visit - Frank Lloyd Wright's Famous Building. 27 May 2020. 2-3pm.
This will be the first of our virtual events and we look forward to seeing
as many of you as possible. The title of event is: ARCLIB Virtual Visit – Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous buildings.

An invitation email will be going out to members very soon. It will include links to a selection of free online resources from the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy – this ranges from their weekly collections of short virtual tour videos from various buildings, to some very detailed virtual tours (360 degrees with/out audio). We will encourage you to explore one or two of the resources prior to our meeting. The hour set for discussion will be very much a social event, geared at getting members in touch, to discuss their experiences with the virtual tours, etc.

Session outline:

  • Introduction – engaging members through online meetings
  • Part 1 – ‘chat’ feedback on the virtual tour resources, sharing your thoughts on the most interesting facts you discovered
  • Part 2 – building a shared Frank Lloyd Wright resource list. How useful would this be for your staff/students? Sharing content ideas via chat that can then be collated in Google Docs for members
  • Part 3 – what’s next? Future talks, AGM and gathering your ideas for events!
  • Summary – wrapping up the session

The online resources will be shared after the event with any members who could not attend. If you are not a member and would like to attend, you can find information on Membership of ARCLIB on our website and Contact Us

We hope you can join us!
