Submit an article

To contribute to the ARCLIB Bulletin, please email the Newsletter Editor. They can either post your content for you, or set you up with a WordPress account so you can publish your own article.

Once you have a WordPress account, go to Posts > Add Post. Title your post, write your article, and add media if you like.

You can add images and other features by using the + icon in the top left corner, and selecting the appropriate “block” from the menu.

To see the media block options, click the + icon and scroll down.

To add alt text to an image for accessibility, click on the image, then go to Settings > Block > Alternative text. Type a description of your image in the box provided.

To open the settings menu, click the sidebar button on the top right.

At the very end of your post, add your name and institution in the following format: Report by: Joe Bloggs | My University

Before you publish, go to Settings > Post > Set featured image and choose an image to be the cover photo for the article. Then scroll down and choose an appropriate category for the post.

You’ll need to scroll to the bottom of the settings menu to find the Categories section.

You can then simply use the button in the top right to Publish your post.
