ARCLIB 2021: Architecture resources – sharing our favourite finds

Conference event hosted by Elaine Cooke, Manchester Metropolitan University.

This short, interactive session was billed as ‘A refresher on the Padlet which Arclib members can share their online and physical ‘finds’.’  A quick explanation of the purpose of the Padlet to provide us with a tool we can share info on free and/or interesting online resources, trials or other perhaps niche content was definitely worthwhile. Reorganising the Padlet content into columns for particular material types makes it a bit easier to differentiate and use the content i.e. Journals, Books, Film (and AV), Other.

I’ve posted a few bits about Kanopy and ArtfIlms, for those interested in sources for licensed video content for architecture, as well as some free architectural journal archives. I’ve already spotted a couple of resources posted by others that I was not aware of and would like to explore. Sharing this sort of info as it comes up via the ARCLIB email helps, but that is easily lost to time and the ever expanding inbox, so having one place to keep track is great.

Try it yourself! ARCLIB 2021 – what new e-resources can you recommend? (padlet.com)
